ABIGAIL MCCORQUODALE

Abigail McCorquodale is currently in her final year of training at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, studying with the New Studio on Broadway, Atlantic Acting School, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She will graduate this spring with a BFA in Drama and a Minor in Dance, and is thrilled to be playing lead roles in both of NYU's mainstage productions this season!
A survivor of esophageal atresia, Abigail utilizes her art as a place of advocacy and awareness for differently-abled performers, and rocks her scars with pride as a way to showcase her belief in every body having a place on stage. Originally from a small fishing town in British Columbia, Canada, McCorquodale has aspirations to take her artistic work and message of inclusivity all over the world, and has been lucky enough to train in some of the world's most vibrant artistic meccas, learning and living in New York City, London, and Vancouver.
A true multi-hyphenate, Abigail works in a variety of artistic mediums, including acting, singing, dance, choreography, directing, and writing. Her first original play, "The Most Important Job in the World" premiered at the Nanaimo Fringe Festival in 2025, playing to sold out audiences and winning "Best in Show". A true Slytherin, McCorquodale knows that her ambition and commitment to consistent artistic excellence will take her far, and she absolutely cannot wait to see what the future holds for her and her work!
